New agent onboarding · Step 2

Get paid

How files move through Paperless Pipeline, and how commission is released after the file is complete.

Send us your W-9

Rise Realty Texas agents are independent contractors, not employees. Commission is paid to the name or LLC you list on your W-9. We keep that form in your file so we can issue payment correctly and report it to the IRS on Form 1099-NEC at year-end. We cannot send commission checks until a completed W-9 is on file.

Complete the form in the name that should receive the checks — your personal name and Social Security number, or your LLC name and EIN if commissions go to an entity.
  1. Download the blank W-9 using the button below.
  2. Fill in your legal name or LLC, address, tax classification, and taxpayer identification number.
  3. Sign and date the form.
  4. Scan or photograph the completed page so it is easy to read.
  5. Email it to admin@riserealtytexas.com.

Transaction management (Paperless Pipeline)

We want the first closing with Rise Realty Texas to be clean. Review this before you open a file. Admin creates your Paperless Pipeline login after your ICA is signed and sponsorship is accepted.

  1. Every listing and sale is processed in PaperlessPipeline.com for brokerage compliance.
  2. Create the transaction file as soon as practical, and no more than two days after you take a listing or get an offer accepted. Open it yourself in Paperless Pipeline by clicking the add transcation button in the upper right corner of the screen, and then complete the necessay transactions fields on the next screen.
  3. Add documents as you go — do not wait until the week of closing. Upload your executed contracts and include the MLS sheet, a property profile / tax record, and contacts for your TC and clients when you start the file.

Transaction checklist training

Same video as the new-agent home page. Watch it before you open your first file.

  1. Before closing, request a pre-closing file audit (and a CDA if you want to be paid from escrow) by sending a note in Paperless Pipeline to Kelly or admin.
  2. The file must be complete before we can authorize commission. Fully executed documents and notes in the file are the best defense if something comes up after closing. Dumping everything at the end delays review and makes TREC supervision harder.

Getting paid

Payment methods

CDA (paid from escrow)

If the transaction file is complete at or before closing (the final settlement statement can follow), you can be paid from escrow. Request a pre-closing audit and CDA in Paperless Pipeline, or email admin@riserealtytexas.com.

Direct deposit

Have your banking information on file before closing. Call 888-774-7315 or email admin@riserealtytexas.com. We already collect a W-9 during onboarding. If we are paying a business entity, the W-9 must be in that business name.

What we need:

  • Full name on the account
  • Account number
  • Routing number
  • Personal or business account

Have the closing package and the full commission check sent to Rise Realty Texas, 700 Central Expy S, Suite 400, Allen, TX 75013. After the file is complete and the check is received, direct deposit is set up. Bank-to-bank transfer usually takes up to two business days.

Files and payment first. Next is how you get more business.
